Artist Statement

I create artwork that allows the viewer to see a visible representation in the area of transformation within the shared human experience. The idea of birth, life, and death are what stimulates my work.

I love developing a narrative with the human figure, nature and found objects. Based on Baroque painting and drawing, I use pencil, charcoal, and oil paints to produce realistic artwork. My work in the past has been abstraction, so now I bring both realism and expressionism into my art practice.

  • Commission Portraits

Do you wish a commission original painting of you, your family member, your childhood, a special person in your life…

I feel what I paint.
